Repeat Scripts
We've made it simple to order your repeat scripts online for your convenience.
For your convenience, you can easily request repeat prescriptions online for medications you've been prescribed within the last 6 months and that are due for renewal.
Please note that we can't process online repeat requests for antibiotics, medicinal cannabis, or certain medications like strong pain relievers (opiates), benzodiazepines, sleeping tablets, and anti-depressants through this service.
Please allow about 5 business days for your doctor to review and process your online request. If you need your prescription sooner, it's best to book an appointment with your doctor.
Our friendly reception team isn't able to speed up online repeat script requests, so if you need it urgently, they'll recommend booking an appointment.
There's a $35.00 fee for this online repeat prescription service, otherwise please contact reception.
How it works
When you request a repeat script online, your GP at Merrylands Family Practice will take a quick look at your medical history to make sure a repeat is suitable for you.
We'll send you a secure SMS within about 5 business days to let you know if your request has been approved.
When you make your request, you can choose how you'd like to receive your script: either as a convenient e-script sent to your phone via SMS, or you can pick it up from Merrylands Family Practice.
To submit your request, you'll need to enter your credit card details, but you'll only be charged the $35.00 fee if your request is approved.
If, for any reason, your request isn't approved, we'll send you an SMS letting you know and suggest booking an appointment.
Lost Scripts
If you've lost your e-script or paper prescription, the best way to get a replacement is through our online repeat script service. A $35 fee might apply. Unfortunately, our reception team can't reissue lost scripts directly.
