Cancellation Fees
We want to let you know how our cancellation fees work
If there's a fee for a cancellation, it will be charged to the debit or credit card you provided when you booked. For future appointments at Merrylands Family Practice, we kindly ask that any outstanding cancellation fees are paid beforehand.
To help us accommodate all our patients, we kindly ask for at least 3 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your GP appointment.
If a cancellation or change is made within 3 hours of your appointment time, a cancellation fee may apply. This fee would be the same as the out-of-pocket cost for your appointment.
For cancellations made outside of this 3-hour window, you can easily manage your booking through the AMS Connect app or by calling our friendly reception team during business hours. Please note that we're unable to process cancellations via email.

If you arrive more than 8 minutes late, we may unfortunately need to reschedule your appointment, and a cancellation fee might apply.
